  SUB:- TENDER FOR IMPORT OF SENSITIZED SECURITY CHEQUE PAPER.

  Sealed quotations are invited from the Manufacturers of Sensitized Security Cheque paper and their Local Agents for supply of 2000 ream sensitized Security Cheque paper as per specification under the terms and conditions as stated below :-

Specification of Cheque Paper :- Sensitized Security Cheque paper CBSI, 95 GSM ( asper Specification of Bangladesh Bank ) with invisible fluorescent pigment particals ( Security dots ) all over the paper in 4 ( four ) colour which is visible under ultra violate lamp with the bank’s approved design of two-tone water mark in Bengali script of

02 Size of water mark’s script will be I cm and the distance from one water mark to another will be 2.5 cm all over security paper.
03 Size of paper 18Ñ Ñ X 23 ÑÑ Ñ ( 45.7 c.m X 58.4 c.m Approx ) 95 grams 500 sheets in a ream.

500 sheets should contain in each ream duly counted & it should be mentioned in invoice & Packing List .

05 Sample :

Two sample must be submitted. One sample is sensitized Security Cheque paper 95 GSM and another is 4 (four ) colour invisible fluorcsecnt pigment particals ( security dots ) must be accompained with the quotation, failing which the quotation / Tender will be rejected.

06 Cost of Paper :

  (a) Rate of paper per ream C & F, ICD, Kamalapur via Chittagon in U.S. Dollar as well as in corresponding equivalent Bangladeshi Taka should be quoted clearly both in figures and in words.
  (b) Cost of water mark, Dandy roll ( if any ) should be quoted separately.

Quotation should clearly be mentioned the pariod within which the shipment will be made and the name of the company, the country of origin and the port of loading.

Sample of water mark may be seen at Establishement ( DSR ) Division, Rupali Bank Ltd. Head Office, 34 , Dilkusha C/A, Dhaka-1000 during office hours and it is to be ensured that approved water mark security paper is to be imported.

Earnest Money @ 3% of the tendered amount in favour of “ Rupali Bank Ltd. Head Office , Dhaka “ in the form of Pay Order/ Bank Draft from any Scheduled Commercial Bank should be accompanied with the Tender.

10 Packing :-

Packing must be on international standard, strong and unbreakable till reaching Bank’s Head Office Godown in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Approval of proof copy of water mark should have to be taken from the Bank authority before going to final production in the Factory.

Arrangement should be made for import of Sensitized Security Cheque Paper. on container ( FCL ) basis direct to Dhaka via Chittagong port and rate is required to be quoted per ream C & F, ICD , Kamalapur, Dhaka.

In case of Local agents the quotation / Indent should also be accompanied  ( a ) Photocopy of up to date Trade Licence duly attested. ( b) Photocopy of Bangladesh Bank Indenting registration duly attested. ( c) Photocopy of Indentor’s registration certificate from CCI & E duly attested. (d) Photocopy of Payment of Income Tax/ Vat Certificate for the last three years duly attested. ( c) TIN number.

07 Eligibility of Tenders

7.1 The tenderer shall have the legal capacity to enter into the contract and have not been declared ineligible by any competent authority.

7.2 The participant company or consortium of companies for Lot/Group-01and Lot/Group-02 must be an internationally renowned Manufacturer /Authorized Distributor and have sufficient [min. 5(five) years] experience in supplying, installation, customization and training of offered hardware brand and related software.

7.3 The vendors must have strong support office in Dhaka City with well equipped service cell manned by adequately qualified technical personnel for maintenance and support of the offered Lots/Groups. Venders who have more established offices in different Divisions will be given preferences. Floating or home address shall not be considered as established offices.

7.4 The participating company may offer proposals for the items in any or desired number of lots/groups and must quote all the items in that/those lot(s)/group(s). Partial offer for any lot/group will not be accepted.

7.5 The offers should have validity for at least 120(one hundred and twenty) days from the date of opening the tender.

The proposed software must comply with the requirements of the Rupali Bnak Ltd.
